Stress-relieved plates from 6mm to 100mm thick for mould bases, jigs and machine beds — including near-steel-strength 7075 tooling plate.

Thick plate is where aluminium quality shows immediately: a plate that is not stress-relieved warps the moment the first milling pass releases internal tension. Our plates come from reputed mills, flat and stress-relieved, so mould bases, fixture plates and machine beds stay dimensionally stable through roughing, finishing and years of service.

Three grades cover practically every plate job. 5052 resists salt and chemicals for marine and tanker work, 6061 is the all-round choice for jigs, fixtures and machine parts, and 7075 delivers strength close to mild steel for aerospace components and high-pressure tooling. Thicknesses from 6mm to 100mm are available with mill test certificates on request.
