Food and pharma flooring faces two rules that fight each other: it must grip wet shoes, and it must wash completely clean. Stainless checker sheet satisfies both — the raised pattern keeps footing secure under water, oil and CIP chemicals, while the SS 304 surface hoses down to hygienic standard without harbouring bacteria in rust pits.
The same properties carry it into marine decks, drain covers and public infrastructure where galvanised plate turns shabby within a couple of seasons. Thicknesses of 3mm to 6mm cover foot traffic through trolley and light vehicle loads. Sheets cut to stair-tread and panel sizes before dispatch, saving site fabrication time.
