A rusted shaft shuts down the whole machine, which is why wet-duty industries specify stainless rod even at a cost premium over EN8. Our bright-drawn bars arrive with the diameter held to close tolerance and the surface smooth enough for bearing seats and seal journals to be finished in a single grinding pass.
The 304-versus-316 decision comes down to environment: 304 handles food splash, washdowns and weather comfortably, while 316's molybdenum addition is essential once chlorides enter the picture — salt air, brine, chemical dosing and pharma CIP systems. Diameters from 6mm to 150mm are stocked in both grades in Ahmedabad, cut to length on request.
