Painted mild steel brackets in a wet plant are a maintenance subscription: scrape, prime, repaint, repeat. Stainless flat bar cancels that subscription — the material itself is the finish. Frames, supports and wear strips fabricated from it are cut, drilled, welded and then simply left alone for years.
Uniform thickness and clean edges keep fabrication predictable, and the same bar polishes up for visible balustrade and trim work. Choose 304 for food plants, dairies and general outdoor structures; specify 316 where salt, chlorine or process chemicals concentrate. Sections from 10×3mm strips to 200×25mm heavy flats are stocked for immediate dispatch.
